MOBILE HYGIENE UNIT

Public relations project led by me to bring a mobile hygiene unit to Salem, OR. With the help of the United Way of the Mid-Willamette Valley, I was able to start this project my junior year of high school while serving as a member on the United Way board of directors. By graduation, we had a fully operational mobile shower! I raised $175,000 and was donated the bus and supplies by local businesses/churches. With this mobile hygiene unit, we are able to offer members of our community suffering from homelessness a moment of respite.
